Hello #WickedWriters!
It’s been a fine six weeks taking a break for self-care— highly recommend it. We’re back with Season 3 of Wicked Writers and I’m excited for you all to hear from some great up-and-coming authors!
First up, I talked with Emily Edwards creator and host of a comedy podcast about books where she and a guest discuss toxic personalities from the world of Western lit. FBOL can be found on all podcast platforms. When Emily isn’t reading or chatting about books, she is writing her own. She specializes in historical mysteries with a modern, feminist twist.
I am still taping episodes for Season 3, so please reach out to me at hello@wickedwriters.org if you or someone you know is a writer that is doing cool stuff and would like to be featured on the pod.
Coming up we have debut novelist, Jennifer Dupee, who recently released her first book, Little French Bridal Shop (spoiler alert: MA seaside towns, mansions and wedding dresses galore in this one!). We also have TEDx Speaker and mentor, Jonathan Harris, or Author Jon as he likes to be known as on social media.
In March 2016, Jonathan published his debut book, “Master of Ceremonies: A Male’s Guide for a Successful Life." In February 2020, he became the owner of Jharris Publishing, LLC to help more aspiring authors feel comfortable telling their story. In July 2020, Jonathan released his second and third books "Growing Gents" and "Girls With Pearls." (fun fact: Jonathan and I went to University of Delaware together)
I hope you enjoy these episodes and please email me hello@wickedwriters.org with any feedback, questions, comments, concerns.
Stay wicked,
Rachael
