Acceptance.
Finding your people and your space can be hard. I've been thinking a lot lately about how lucky I've been, particularly over the last year or so, to find new people and new spaces that fuel my passions and creativity. And as I continue to expand my art practice, share my book, get involved with local groups, and take more art classes - I can't help but feel grateful for the opportunities that are coming my way.
This month was one of firsts - I got to display my artwork at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design staff show! I honestly got the same feeling as when I help The Judging Porch for the first time - as I've said before there is nothing like seeing/holding/touching something you've created.
As peers came up to me and told me how much they love my work, I couldn't help but feel validated in my current artistic path. It is so rewarding to see other people gravitate toward your artistic style.
I also launched a new section of my website for artwork, which has a listing of shows that I am in. Send me a note at rachaeldubinsky@gmail.com and let me know what you think and if you know of any other opportunities to showcase my work!
As we come to the end of the year, I want to thank everyone who has supported my art. Whether it was purchasing a copy of The Judging Porch, viewing my artwork at a show, or just asking what I'm up to, I really appreciate the support. And just for good measure, Parker wanted to say thank you for an amazing year - it's time to put 2024 to sleep now :)
Here's to another year of creative adventures in 2025!
Stay #wicked,
Rachael
